It has taken many hours of work to complete this  oil and mixed media 150cm x 100cm canvas painting. It was inspired by a short, sharp, shower I experienced one evening, on Stanage Edge at the beginning of the month. The sun shone brightly through the veil of rain as it progressed along the Edge, creating a glowing wall of falling water.Trying to interpret the moment was achieved mainly from my memory of the experience.
